General terms and conditions for the Hotel Freina in Val Gardena

Find out all you need to know about our terms and other general information for a carefree holiday in the Dolomites.

General contractual conditions in accordance with Article 1341 of the ZGB, which are applicable for any accommodation agreements between the accommodation facility Hotel Freina and its guests or customers.

Prices

• All room and suite rates are per person per night. Depending on the offer, the price includes breakfast or half board. Use of the wellness area, Wi-Fi, and a parking space in the garage are also included.
• Please note that a local tourist tax of € 3.40 per person per day will be charged in addition to the room rate. Children under 14 are exempt from this tax.
• We do not offer single rooms. However, upon request, the Stevia double room can be booked for single use with a surcharge.
• Discounts for extra beds:
  We offer a 20% discount for children and for the third or fourth person in an extra bed.

Arrival and departure

• Your reserved room will be available to you from 3 pm on arrival day. Please could you let us know if you are going to arrive after 7 pm. The room must be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure.
• LATE CHECK-OUT and EARLY CHECK-IN: if available, only by prior agreement and subject to a charge.

To book:

• A 30% deposit of the total amount is required at the time of booking, payable by credit card or bank transfer. In case of cancellation, the deposit will be retained in full by the accommodation and is neither refundable nor transferable to future stays.
• Alternatively, the total amount may be paid in full immediately via credit card or bank transfer.
• For bookings made within 3 days prior to arrival, the full amount must be paid immediately by credit card.

Cancellation Policy

Pursuant to Part III, Title III, Chapter I of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), there is no legal right of withdrawal. Nonetheless, we offer the following cancellation terms:

• Up to 30 days before arrival: only the deposit will be retained. It is non-refundable and cannot be applied to a future stay.
• From 29 to 1 day before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total agreed price will be charged, excluding the deposit already paid.

• In case of early departure or late arrival: 100% of the daily rate will be charged for each unused night.
  
  

We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Payment Methods:

• We accept payments by Bancomat, debit cards, VISA, MasterCard, Eurocard, and cash.
• Please note that, under current Italian law, cash payments are permitted only up to a maximum amount of €4,999.99.

Contract Terms:

For all other provisions, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Providers affiliated with the Val Gardena Tourist Association, including any subsequent amendments and additions, which govern the accommodation contract. We reserve the right to change prices and offers without prior notice.

Jurisdiction:

Italian Civil Law applies. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Bolzano.
